The star ratings for this did not particularly apply. This item is listed as a toy but it is more of a decoration. They fairly small in size. One skeleton is probably the lenght of my medium/small sized hand...if not a little shorter. The bones are this and textured-this makes them look old, which is good for thier purpose. I like them and plan to hang them above my door every Halloween season. They stretch across the double front doors of my house (they are two normal sized doors).

I spent a lot of time (seriously) searching for an affordable skeleton that would also be accurate on every website imaginable, I couldn't have been happier with this one. i was willing to spend up to about $100 on it, but after careful examination (from info provided, reviews, and pics) i choose this one. its hard trying to buy something like this online, but i was pleasantly surprised and happy with my decision. i used it to study for a skeletal system anatomy exam. i was pleased with how well the structures matched the ones in my book. i bought a separate skull because i didnt think the skull on this skeleton would be detailed, however, the detailing on the skull was another pleasant surprise. ive recommended it to my class mates. the size of the skeleton was perfect
